Waar we aan het begin van de lockdown nog gemotiveerd home work-outs organiseerden, is de motivatie er bij velen nu wel stilaan af. Toch weten we allemaal hoe belangrijk het is om te blijven bewegen. Tijd om het tij te keren met de UM Step challenge!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-53651c1 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"53651c1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Wandelen is gezond<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f48fda6 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"f48fda6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>\u2018Veel wandelen is gezonder dan kort, intensief bewegen\u2019, concludeert prof. dr.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.maastrichtuniversity.nl\/nl\/hans.savelberg\">Hans Savelberg<\/a>, hoofddocent bewegingswetenschappen in Maastricht. Hij legt uit dat veel zitten heel ongezond is. Uit\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/journals.plos.org\/plosone\/article?id=10.1371\/journal.pone.0055542\">onderzoek<\/a>\u00a0bleek dat al na vier dagen zitten de concentratievetten in het bloed toe- en de insulinegevoeligheid juist afneemt. Dat zijn risicofactoren voor respectievelijk hoge bloeddruk en diabetes. We kunnen tegenwoordig allemaal wel wat extra beweging gebruiken. Al het thuiswerken zorgt ervoor dat we veel te veel zitten. Daarom wilde we de Universiteit van Maastricht\u00a0weer in beweging krijgen met de UM Step challenge.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5dfd875 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"5dfd875\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">UM Step challenge<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-00c20e4 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"00c20e4\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Tijdens\u00a0de Selfcare-challenge\u00a0streden 12 teams tegen elkaar voor de titel: meest vitale faculteit of servicecentrum van de Universiteit Maastricht. Zowel docenten, medewerkers als (bachelor- en master)studenten waren vertegenwoordigd in deze digitale stappenchallenge. Er werd gemiddeld meer dan 10.000 stappen per dag gezet waardoor de teams bijna naar de finish rende!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-414fe89 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"414fe89\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Get active in Spring!<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-19562e1 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"19562e1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>De gemiddelde stappen van het hele team worden dagelijks berekend, dus iedereen draagt zijn steentje bij: zowel de relaxte boswandelaar als de fervente marathonloper. En elke stap telde mee. Hierin strijden de faculteiten en servicecentra voor de titel \u2018meest actieve faculteit\/servicecentrum van de UM\u2019 en voor een geldbedrag ten behoeve van vitaliteitsbevordering. De drie eenheden die het doel het snelste halen, krijgen respectievelijk \u20ac3.000, \u20ac2.000 en \u20ac1.000 van het college van bestuur dat ze mogen gebruiken voor het bevorderen van de vitaliteit op het werk. Denk bijvoorbeeld aan een maandelijkse fruitmand waar iedereen uit mag pakken of een fitnessrek op het eigen terrein. Na de eerste dagen gaat Facility Services aan de leiding met bijna 70 duizend stappen, gevolgd door ICTS en de Universiteitsbibliotheek.<\/p><p>Omdat mensen ook graag binnen een faculteit of servicecentrum tegen elkaar in competitie willen gaan, komt er voor de zomervakantie nog een tweede stappenchallenge. Dan gaan afdelingen de strijd met elkaar aan.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3c74900 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"3c74900\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Tips en tricks voor meer stappen<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-bef94b2 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"bef94b2\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Prof. dr. Stef Kremers, hoogleraar gezondheidsbevordering,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/maastrichtuniversity.bbvms.com\/view\/default_videoteam\/4175551.html\">legt uit<\/a>\u00a0hoe je meer beweging kunt integreren in je dagelijkse routine.
